In carp rich waters and during great feeding needs, from may to october, in order to keep the fish in one location, it is sometimes necessary to cast 10 to 12 kg of seeds in the water, or 500 to 600 boilies daily. However, it is possible to mix them, 5 to 6 kg seeds with 250 to 300 boilies.
In zones rich with natural food, but where carp are rare, in mid winter, 2 kg of seeds or 50 boilies is quite enough. For greater effectiveness and saving, when soaking the corn, more or less 24 hours before cooking, it is desirable to add the same smell and colour which boilies are made of into the water.
