Sand beaches

In smaller lakes, sand bars and all other small water surfaces, the predator fish, depending on the season, frequently change location. High temperatures in the summer force them to a specific feeding regime. On the contrary, the shorter days, sun lower in the sky and cold nights make this water type very interesting.

Water cooling begins with the surface. Right in these shallow spots, especially on the beaches, feed the spawn* before winter.
Pike occupy the first deep location in the vicinity of any obstacle. Not far from the shore they prey on other fish.
Walleye and perch spend most of the day in the deep zones. They are less interested in shrimp and more interested in spawn.
